University of Alberta Endowment

Prior to 1997, the AHSGR Edmonton & District Chapter funded an endowment for a scholarship related to German Studies at the University of Alberta. The University manages the endowment, decides the size of scholarships awarded each year, and chooses recipients.

American Historical Society of Germans From Russia (Edmonton District Chapter) Scholarship

Field of Study: German

Conditions: To be awarded annually on the basis of superior academic achievement and financial need to a student who will further his or her German studies by the scholarship.

Donor: Endowed by American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (Edmonton and District Chapter).

Student Award

Since 2010, the AHSGR Edmonton & District Chapter has provided a small annual monetary award to a top student in German Bilingual Studies at Allendale School. The recipient is chosen by the School.
